I can pay everything except my credit card debt

My son doesn’t have a job or any bills. He’s very lazy and just plays video games all day in the basement. He uses my credit card for everything he needs and I can’t keep making this payment and keep paying for the mortgage and car and everything else. I don’t want to claim bankruptcy for all my bills since I can afford to keep paying them, but how do I get rid of this debt on my credit card or least figure out a reasonable amount to pay back?

  1. You may want to consider a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. This is essentially a repayment plan that eliminates interest and puts you on a definite schedule to pay off your debt. Between 3 to 5 years. Or you may what to consider consumer credit counselling. Those are the only options that I am aware of short of Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
