 >:(Elderly relative (87) is in a huge financial bind.  In jeopardy of losing her home of 55 years.  She has a mthly income of $1500.00.  Has $23,000 in Credit card(s) debt.  Borrowed against home that she owns  - owes $11,000.  Mortgage is $400/mth.  Four months behind on mortgage.  Also has another loan of approx. $11,000.  Need some advice immediately.

Help her get a Reverse Mortgage. This will pay off her present mortgage. Then, she can choose to take monthly payments. Contact the CC company to tell them about the situation and tell them that she cannot pay--impossible.
